Meet author Bart Stevens at Angelo's Bar-B-Que on Wednesday, August 20 at 7 p.m. Bart will be sharing racing stories, and about his career in recording studios. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

About The Miller Grill

The Miller Grill is about racing, music, friendship, and growing old. In this historical novel Sam Nunis and his best friend Robert Johnson meet annually to run down memory lane at the Miller Grill. Running red lights like two kids on the way to the swimming hole on a hot summer day, Sam and Robert, who goes by Bobby since he faked his death, reminisce about the crazy and zany things Sam pulled off as an auto race promoter, and how Bobby dealt with his own struggles as a blues artist. In the end, both men are better as a result of their friendship.

About Bart Stevens

Bart is a debut author and spent 30-plus years in the Media & Entertainment industry working with many award winning artists including Michael Jackson, Joe Satriani, Boz Scaggs and Spinal Tap. As a hobby, he has studied the history of recorded music and automobile racing, focusing on the 1920s-1970s. In addition, his five years working at Michael Jackson’s Neverland Valley Ranch gave him a unique perspective on how a popular artist searched for solace and dealt with the results of fame and fortune. Today, Bart is a leader in consignment sales focusing on authentic motorsports memorabilia and collectibles for individuals, estates and museums.
