Come down and see the carnage as sixteen local bartenders are put head to head in a bracket style, on the fly, pressure-filled, mixology battle to duke it out for the cash and the title of Bartenders Brawl Champion.
The best part is, the audience gets to sample the whole competition...so who is the real winner, I ask you? As are all Volstead events, Bartenders Brawl is free to attend, but is 21+ only.
If you were here for the last brawl you have a general idea of how things go down, but for you newbies here are the competition basics:
-16 competitors are put into a bracket system where they go head-to-head creating unique cocktails on the fly with the winner advancing to the next round.
-Each round will have mystery ingredients that both bartenders must employ in their drink. (The amount of the secret ingredient will be up to the bartender, however in the event of a “close call” the judges will be selecting the drink that they feel best utilizes the secret ingredients.)
-Each round will incorporate a different spirit provided by our sponsors, with the winner using all four spirits. We not only allow, but encourage you to bring your own ingredients and supplies and we’ll provide what we deem as the basics
