The Auckland Youth Symphonic Band Inc (consisting of the Auckland Youth Symphonic Band and Auckland Wind Orchestra) was formed in 1967 by Hugh Dixon. The Youth Band is now conducted by Michael Jamieson and the Wind Orchestra by Andrew Uren. Please join us for a wonderful afternoon of music celebrating Matariki and the stars, with pieces including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Skyfall, Earth Song, and many more! This concert is on June 22 from 12-2pm at the Devonport Ferry Terminal. Entry is free with donations gratefully accepted. We hope to see you there!
