Pétanque London – Triples Competition 2026
Open exclusively to Pétanque London members with either a Full PE Licence or London Region Membership.
🏆 This is a key event and a major opportunity to climb the 2026 standings.
Bring your team of three and compete for the London Triples title in a full day of competitive pétanque.
Format – Swiss Rounds, then Knockout
How the format works — Swiss 🎯
• Everyone plays a set number of Swiss rounds
• Each round, you play teams with similar results
• Games become more balanced as the day goes on
Example:
• Win early → play stronger teams 💪
• Lose early → play more even matches 🤝
After the Swiss rounds:
• Teams are ranked 📊
• Split into knockout competitions
👉 A Competition — top teams
👉 B Competition — remaining teams
Both competitions then move into a knockout stage 🏆
What this means
• Multiple games guaranteed 🎯
• Fairer matchups ⚖️
• Competitive pétanque all day 🔥
• Everyone has something to play for
