11:00a-12:30 p.m. - Workshops and Roda for Adults, Teens, and Youth ages 8+

3:00-5:00 p.m. - BATIZADO Ceremony

7:00-9:00 p.m. - After Party Dinner at Taste of Brazil (Tickets $20)

Workshops: We are pleased to welcome Tiririca and Professor Guerreiro as guest instructors for this event.

Local Students Advancing at the Event - $99

Local Students Not Advancing and Guests $60

Your event fee includes all workshops, testing and cord (if applicable), the batizado ceremony, and an event t-shirt.

Add Ons: After-Batizado Dinner Party - $20

REGISTRATION IS DUE FEBRUARY 11th.

Housing: Capoeira Pé da Serra does not coordinate housing for visiting guests. We encourage you to reach out to your friends in the local capoeira community or to take advantage of the many hotels, Vrbo or AirBnB options available in Colorado Springs.

Transportation: Depending on your scheduled arrival, we may be able to assist with transportation to/from the Colorado Springs airport for guests. It it much less expensive to fly to the Denver International Airport, but this airport is 1.5 hrs from Colorado Springs and you will need to make your own transportation arrangements. There are shuttles that run regularly between DIA and COS, but will need to be reserved in advance.

After-Batizado Dinner Party: We have reserved Taste of Brasil for a dinner party from 7 to 9 p.m. after the event. Tickets are $20 each, include a plated Brazilian dinner and must be purchased in advance. Sodas are included. Alchoholic drinks available for purchase. The restaurant is located close to Springs Dance at 773 Garden of the Gods Rd, 80907.
