Now that Python in Excel is heading to general availability, this free one-hour training is designed to help you understand what this exciting integration means and what Python in Excel can do for you. We'll dive into hands-on examples to ensure you can apply what you learn right away.

• When to use native Excel features for data analysis and visualization, and when Python is a better fit.
• How Python can assist in common data preparation and manipulation tasks often done in spreadsheets.
• The differences between how Python and Excel store and operate on data.

• Run Python code directly within your Excel workbook.
• Generate complex data analyses and visualizations with Python that would be difficult or impossible in Excel.
• Import additional Python modules in your Excel workbook for assistance with a variety of data analytics tasks.

• Please have an up-to-date version of Microsoft 365 for desktop installed prior to the workshop.
• If you are new to data analysis in Python, you are welcome to attend although I'd suggest later.
• It is recommended to attend this workshop on a Windows machine
• No other preparation is needed.
