Whether you're a beginner or just curious, come have fun, learn cool techniques, and celebrate this unique folk art with us! This is a a Halloween Special Workshop so you will create one or several spooky themed eggs!

Participants will go through the entire process of completing a decorated egg. You will clean out your egg, seal the ends with bees wax, and then learn how to decorate the egg with a traditional Pysanky tool called a Kystka. The kystka is heated on a flame and filled with wax. It is used to make wax lines on the egg and then dipped into various color dyes. The final step is melting off the wax to reveal a vibrant design.
