Pyraegea is a Burn in the Mediterranean Sea, inspired by events like Burning Man and Nowhere. For the 2022 event, we're meeting in Athens to sail the Saronic Islands. ► THE WATER BURN
In boating speak, this is a 'social rally': We meet up in Alimos/ Delta Kallithea Marina on September 17th. The rally committee will post the next meeting point(s), usually an anchorage or small local harbour not too far away. It's up to each participant to get there. The idea is of course to sail together, but all other compatible modes of transport are welcome. Mid-week, we aim to stay a full day in a remote cove for the main burn.
► DON'T HAVE A BOAT?
If you don't have your own vessel - don't worry. Pyraegea isn't operating any yachts, but some participants own or charter a boat and are making a very limited number of spaces available. You don't even need to know how to sail! To get started, join our Facebook community at http://facebook.com/groups/medburn/. Once you are accepted, find the pinned announcement post with the yacht roster. Berths are usually offered on shared cost terms, between €300-600, depending on the vessel.
