PYE x Dingle Distillery Whiskey Tasting

PYE & The Dingle Distillery invite you to join us on Thursday April 27th, for a tasting evening centered around the incredible whiskeys coming all the way from the Dingle Peninsula.

Dingle started its journey in a converted sawmill in Milltown, Dingle of Co.Kerry in 2012 and released their first whiskey distilled and matured at their distillery in 2016. Since then they have been on a mission to cement themselves as an 'artisan' distillery by releaseing a series of Small Batch Single Malt and Single Pot Still releases, all of which have been matured in a wide range of casks to offer a level of depth and detail like none other.

In 2022 they began a new journey, a continuation of their mission and the culmination of over a decade of planning, learning, and evolving. This journey, comes in the shape of a new series of limited release bottlings, "The Wheel of The Year" series.

The Celtic wheel of the year is a solar calendar that marks the time and the seasons. It is divided into eight periods. Which is where Dingle have taken inspiration for their new series, labeling each bottle after a celebrated Irish Holiday & Festival, each begin as very same Single Malt Whiskey, but matured in a very diifferent cask. To really show the stark difference the maturation process can have on an already incredible whiskey.

Here at PYE, you'll get the chance to start at the very start, tasting Dingle's Single Malt New Make Spirit, straight off the pot still! Followed by their staple core release Single Malt, and 2 Wheel of the Year fnished Single Malts, a Small Batch release of their Single Pot Still as well as some never seen before cask samples! One of which is part of a yet to be released whiskey. Colour us excited!

Included in the Ticket price will be addmission to the Tasting Evening inclusiive of the 6 samples. Entry into a raffle on the night for which the prize will be a bottle of a Limited Edition bottle, among other bits and bobs. As well as bar bites and finger food which will be served at the end of the tasting.

It's the biggest tasting we've done so far, and so its not to be missed.
