Piedmont Wildlife Center is now a proud supporter of the Adopt-A-Highway project in North Carolina! PWC is responsible for maintaining the shoulders of the Leigh Farm Road and NC 54 to the Harris Teeter intersection (Garrett Road and 54). We will plan to separate into 4 teams and cover the entire 1.5 mile stretch. Bags, safety vests and gloves will be provided. Feel free to bring trash grabbers if you'd like!This opportunity is for those 12 years and older. Those between 12-17 years old must volunteer with a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. The parent or guardian must sign the Youth Participation Release Form.

All participants must watch the Adopt-A-Highway safety videos prior to the event and must sign the Adopt-A-Highway Program Agreement the day of the event. Registrants will receive additional information once registration is complete.
We are able to sign off on community service hours that are NOT court ordered.
