Puzzle Pals Playdate

This event was created specifically for families raising children with complex medical needs. Whether your child has a feeding tube, uses a wheelchair, has a rare genetic condition, lives with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, a seizure disorder, or any other medical complexity — this afternoon was planned with your family in mind from the very beginning.

What to Expect:

🧩 Sensory-Friendly Activity Stations Hands-on, inclusive play areas designed with children of all abilities and medical needs in mind. Every station is thoughtfully set up so every child can participate and enjoy.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Lounge A dedicated space for caregivers to sit, connect, and share with other parents and families who truly understand the journey. No explanations needed. No judgment. Just community.

📋 Local Resources and Support Organizations Representatives from community programs, support organizations, and healthcare resources will be on site — all in one place so you can learn about what is available for your family across Central Georgia.

🎉 Fun, Joy, and Community This is a celebration. Come ready to laugh, play, and enjoy an afternoon that was built entirely around you and your child.

Who Should Attend:

This event is for families of children ages 0 to 18 with complex medical needs including but not limited to:

• Feeding tube dependency (G-tube, NG-tube, J-tube)
• Tracheostomy and ventilator dependency
• Cerebral palsy
• Muscular dystrophy
• Rett syndrome
• Rare genetic conditions
• Seizure disorders
• Congenital heart defects
• Autism with medical complexity
• AAC device users
• Wheelchair users
• Any child with ongoing complex medical needs

Siblings, grandparents, caregivers, and support persons are all welcome to attend.

Is There a Cost?

There is no cost to attend this event. Registration is simply required so we can plan appropriately and ensure every family has a great experience.
