About this Event
Now, this world is stressful and on top of that, experiences of racism can feel overwhelming and bring forth a wide range of feelings and emotions. Whether you experience stress, anxiety or heightened emotion at work, the home environment or otherwise- this is a good opportunity to explore in a group-setting with likeminded individuals how breathwork can be a tool to practice mental wellness, reduce stress, anxiety and promote emotional regulation.
We will also have the opportunity to express our inner thoughts, learn and engage with others or even just use the space to reflect, make sense of things or heal through self-guided restoration.
This event will allow you to:
- Self-reflect through a guided session by our expert facilitator
- Listen, learn & connect with your local community on shared experiences
- Explore and practice breathwork as a technique to promote mental wellness
Held at Yard House House, Birmingham, B16 0AE
WHAT TO EXPECT
- A supportive, culturally competent space to explore your own personal challenges
- A chance to ask questions and connect with other locals over experiences in an unfiltered, safe space
- Engage, explore and gain access to culturally competent mental health service providers

Water and light refreshments will be provided.
