Putney Social "Speed Friends" Night, February

Please join the Putney Social Group for our popular “Speed Friends” event, on Monday the 3rd of February at The Railway, Putney.

This is a fun way to meet a lot of people in a relaxed environment, and hopefully make lots of new friends! We have reserved the entire first floor of this spacious and elegant venue, opposite Putney Train station. We have a large open space suitable for 100 to 150 people with its own bar, so let’s try to fill it!

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a speed dating event. But you are guaranteed to meet lots of new people in one night, in a relaxed and friendly way!

If you are coming on you own, please don’t worry. Daniel and Ashley, your friendly and welcoming hosts will be there to greet you, and ensure you get lots of friendly introductions.

Event Schedule

• Warm welcome upon arrival from Daniel and Ashley
• Time to mingle and grab a drink until 8pm.
• A short intro about the Putney Social Group, and a brief explanation of how Speed Friends works.
• Speed Friends begins shortly after 8pm, once we have enough people.
• Around 10pm speed friends finishes, but we can continue the conversations till close.

Speed Friends explained: We invite people to sit at a table in small groups of four people. We encourage these small groups to chat for approximately 25 minutes, and then we swap everyone around by moving to a new table (to meet 4 more new people) after that. Any late arrivals wait at the bar and you will be included in the next table swap.
