Putney Social "Speed Friends" Night

Please join the Putney Social Group for our popular “Speed Friends” event, on Thursday the 30th of April at The Railway, Putney.

This is a fun way to meet a lot of people in a relaxed environment, and hopefully make lots of new friends! We have reserved the entire first floor in this elegant venue, opposite Putney Train station. We have a private area reserved for our event.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a speed dating event. But you are guaranteed to meet lots of new people in one night, in a relaxed and friendly way!

If you are coming on you own, please don’t worry. Daniel and Ashley, your friendly and welcoming hosts will be there to greet you, and ensure you get lots of friendly introductions.

Event Schedule

• Warm welcome upon arrival from Daniel and Ashley
• Time to mingle and grab a drink until 8pm.
• A short intro about the Putney Social Group, and a brief explanation of how Speed Friends works.
• Speed Friends begins around 8pm, once we have enough people.
• Around 10pm speed friends finishes, but we can continue the conversations till close.

Speed Friends explained: We invite people to sit at a table in small groups of four people. We encourage these small groups to chat for approximately 25 minutes, and then we swap everyone around by moving to a new table (to meet 4 more new people) after that. Any late arrivals wait with Daniel and you will be included in the next table swap.
