Hey! We know when you think of syrup, you think of pancakes. BUT what about...cocktails? Barrel-aged beer? Smashburgers topped with bacon that was candied with black garlic-infused maple syrup? OH YEAH. That's what's up.So free your mind from the pancake trap and join us in welcoming our friends from TAPPED Maple Syrup to the taproom on Saturday, May 18th! They're heading our way from the Northwoods of Wisconsin to tantalize your tastebuds with their infused maple syrups, and we. are. here. for. it.
They'll be sampling out their wares from 4-8pm and selling bottles for you to take home and sure, smother pancakes in if ya want, but we hope to expand your maple syrup horizons a bit...
For our part, we'll have a couple of cocktails on offer that feature their sweet, sweet tree nectar, as well as a keg of our "Solin" Double-barrel-aged Imperial Stout, which was rested in their barrel-aged syrup barrels for several months after slumbering in Willett barrels for a year.
And Boom Box Burgers will be making their grand debut from 5-8pm, smashing up smashburgers on the patio and topping them with candied bacon that -- you guessed it, or rather, you read it earlier in this same post -- was candied using TAPPED's black garlic-infused maple syrup.
