The next PUSH jazz dance party in Leeds at Hope House - home of Cosmic Slop - is on Friday 27th November....here's the line-up :
Guest DJ is UK dancefloor jazz champion Tina Edwards - broadcaster (current show Bandcamp Selects on Bandcamp Radio), music journalist (works published in The Guardian, The Telegraph, Mixmag, Downbeat), promoter (Love Is Everywhere DJ party + Queer Jazz live sessions, both in London), and international DJ who has played/plays across Europe, the USA, and these days, regularly across Asia. We've been trying to book her since day one and finally, our dates match up ❤️
Guest dance teacher is London based Japanese jazz dancer supreme Masumi Endo - founder of the Footnotes UK jazz dance crew, and dance educator across the capital, including working with Tina at the Love Is Everywhere parties...she's been booked at PUSH since the beginning but a dance injury, and then the cancellation of our summer 2026 party, meant she never made it....FINALLY, it's happening 😎
Resident DJs are Leeds' OJC crew (Original Jazz Cats), Lubi Jovanovic and Gip Dammone from the DIG Family. They're hosting the party and warming up for Tina, playing their jazz/fusion/Latin/Brazilian records on the incredible Cosmic Slop soundsystem 🔈🔉🔊
Doors 6pm and jazz dance class with Masumi - party 7-11pm, with Lubi and Gip on the decks 7-9pm, and then Tina 9-11pm 💿

As always, all money taken on this night goes to MAP Charity to help them deliver their excellent work supporting young people aged 11-16, who are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education 🙌
