And we're back for the 12th annual Push For Awareness! Registration is now open at https://supporting.afsp.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=9837. We'll get those wheels turning once again to end the stigma of mental illness and promote lifestyle changes that combat depression.This year we will continue with the success of last year's format, a one-day event with the start and finish line in Elm Creek Park Reserve. This event is open to both new and experienced riders, and you can set your goal anywhere from 5 miles to 75 miles! We have moved the start time up to 5am for those of you shooting for the full distance. If you are targeting a more reasonable distance, we'll take a break before restarting at 9am with a proper send off from our volunteers.
Friends and family are encouraged to join the finish line to support our riders and honor those we've lost. We will have food, games, and access to the man-made lake to entertain our spectators until the afterparty at 5pm! Bring your flashiest signs and pick up some free swag to cheer on our riders as they complete each lap! There is a shaded pavilion with electric power and water on site.
A special thank you to all of our sponsors who support the Push For Awareness each year. Their donations provide a large portion of our fundraising through the raffle which is open to all attendees! All funds go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
