About this Event
Purpose is deeply personal and can be found at the place where an individual’s talents and passions intersect. When put to work, it can be used to lead a more meaningful, rewarding life! We hope to see you there.
Knowing your life’s purpose can help you navigate life’s ups and downs, choose a fulfilling career, and even live up to 7 years longer. We want our community to both have and live on purpose as a part of our goal to improve well-being in our community.
Blue Zones Project Bakersfield invites you to join us for a free Purpose Workshop on April 25 at 9:30 a.m. This fun, interactive workshop will guide participants through activities to help them identify or rediscover their gifts, values, and most importantly their "why." By the end of the workshop, each attendee will be able to create a draft of a personal purpose statement. This process is designed by Blue Zones Project in partnership with Richard Leider, a leading expert in purpose studies and author of the book “The Power of Purpose.”
