Daddy Squad is the solo project of producer, DJ and songwriter Andrew Armstrong, blending disco, italo, electro and synth-driven club music into a sleek, high-energy sound. Formerly one half of synth-pop duo Monarchy, he has released music on labels including Toy Tonics, Pets Recordings and Eskimo, alongside his own imprint, AAA Battery.
His work includes collaborations with Dita Von Teese, Hard Ton, S’Express, and drag icon Violet Chachki, while his productions and remixes span artists such as SIA, Charli XCX, Blondie, Kylie, Lady Gaga and Jamiroquai. As a DJ, Daddy Squad has played clubs and festivals across Europe, Asia and Australia, and in 2024 co-founded the Madrid-based queer party Yes, Bitch!, now expanding internationally.
Alongside Daddy Squad, our Purple Night residers Denis d’or, Wrapped in Plastic and The Dreamer.
