Purple Disturbance live at Cherry Bar, FRI JULY 10
About this Event
As part of their July run of shows, Northern NSW punk/art-rock upstarts Purple Disturbance will be playing on Friday 10th July at Cherry Bar. This is the only Melbourne show on this run, a cheeky 16-hour drive by.
Last time Purple Disturbance played the Cherry Bar, Jed licked the floor, the floor collapsed,(these incidents were not related). The floor was fixed and Jed remains disease free.
The band have established a reputation as a must see live act with frontman Thomas Downes a chaotic and energetic frontman drawing comparisons to everyone from Iggy, Hutchens, Cave and bloody Jamiroquai. They will be playing songs from their upcoming EP, Bugalugs and are supported by the self-proclaimed loudest band in Melbourne, Jaded State and the strong of neck, Seven Pound Halo.
Good times, long drives, Sara Lee riders and a frenetic show from one the best proponents of the revitalised punk art scene, not to be missed. Tix on sale now!
