Puppy Love - GREAT Introduction To Training and Guiding Young Dog and Puppies To Support a Well Behaved Pet!This is an especially good session for homes with puppies to promote good behavior at home and avoid correcting problems after they develop. Anticipated homes are also welcome to attend to PREPARE FOR A NEW PUPPY!
This is class is for any age group but is especially advantageous for puppies under a year of age who need to be socialized and their energy channeled to become great pets, Canine Good Citizens and/or Pet Therapy Dogs in the making!
Develop awareness and understanding of dog behaviors and communication in order to have a well mannered dog and learn to train routine exercises in the HOME. All exercises on leash. Emphasis is on home manners and minor behavior issues.
Introduction to Attention, Sit, Down, Walk On Leash, Come On Leash, Sit For exam and Stay (few seconds).
This session will also assist with behavior problems such as but not limited to jumping up, potty training and other typical behaviors.
One (1) Day Session For Approximately An Hour but may be longer as needed.
Prerequisite Class - None
Equipment Required:
Buckle and/or Nylon Slip Collar with 6' Leash
Or a 6' Slip Leash
Small Preferably Soft Treats
Dog that is ready to train without being fed recently and has been offered time to relieve themselves
Or if you are preparing for a puppy soon just bring yourself!
