This is the craziest food event of the year, and this year's theme is Goth.

Punk Rock Hot Dogs is an annual food competition held in Asheville, North Carolina to determine who makes WNC’s most punk rock hot dogs.

“It’s time once again for Punk Rock Hotdogs! This is my favorite of all the food competitions that I’ve ever organized. I've got some chefs lined-up, and I'll need some more, so stay tuned as it all comes together. As always, there will be a panel of expert judges, plus the people's choice, and prizes for the winners.

“The first time we did one of these, in 2019, the chefs had to pick a punk band to represent, in 2021 there were no rules. It was anarchy. An octopus leg won. Not kidding. This year the theme is Goth. If you don’t know what “Goth” means, first of all, wow, and secondly, look it up!

Once again, Punk Rock Hot Dogs will be happening at the Asheville Masonic Temple (80 Broadway) and will be co-produced by Stu helm: Food Fan & Shay Brown Events.

Punk Rock Hot Dogs will be happening at The Asheville Masonic Lodge, 80 Broadway, and proceeds will be raised to help with ongoing repairs and updates to the historic building.
