Press Release:

PUNK N'QUEER celebrates New York as Lydia Lunch once called it “the most exciting place to be on the planet, when anyone could come to the city to scream!”. Reminiscent of the raw and underground spirit of New York, when clubs like CBGBs and Max's Kansas City ruled the scene and when Stonewall was at the forefront of the queer liberation.

Acting as an anti-dote to our post-traumatic-isolation-disorders and opening at a more deregulated time (following a maximum indoor capacity of 60 people), PUNK N QUEER will present three performance art works and one musical artist projects in a lineup starting with the infamous “anti-artist” Matthew Silver, non-binary ritual performer Jaguar Mary X & sound alchemist Evie Star, multiracial Japanese American costume and performance artist Chanel Matsunami Govreau and ending with live music by punk rock band BEECHWOOD.

PUNK N'QUEER is a concept created and curated by Coco Dolle.
