Lace up your boots, folks! Grimpire Entertainment proudly unleashes a historic night of underground chaos with the first official "Punk at the Shack!" We've shaken the walls of Shanty Shack Brewing with the heavy weight of our "Metal at the Shack" nights, but now we're finally digging into the local punk landscape. While we've had mixed punk and metal bills before, this is the definitive launch of a brand new, regular showcase dedicated entirely to the fast, the loud, and the unapologetically DIY. There aren't a lot of venues for all ages Punk Rock in this town, so this is your chance to stand on the front lines of a brand new era for the local music scene.To kick off this series with maximum Punktitude, we’ve stacked the bill with three legendary locals. They're not just in the bands, they are fans that avidly support the music scene here in Santa Cruz and beyond, all the while setting the example for the next generation with their uncompromising fury. With blistering tempos and catchy hooks they will have the entire Shack spinning and the pit raging.  Enemy of My Enemy BandcampBringing the heavy, melodic fire is the aggressively anthemic Enemy of My Enemy. A true Santa Cruz favorite, consisting of an all-star punk line-up, their raw, punk 'n' roll sound commands the room and you will respond to their driving rhythms! Outpatient-X BandcampThis power punk trio taps into tasty riffs, and heavy, raw, gritty lyrics to set the pace for the night. The velocity of their attack will have you wishing you were skating a rail, but you'll have to content yourself with circling the pit in a massive adrenaline dump. We couldn't be more excited to make this line-up available to young and old, new and experienced punks alike.
