Info: We follow National Mahjong League (NMJL) rules for all play, along with a few House Rules that extend etiquette and help keep the games fair and fun for everyone. Our goal is to foster friendship, meet new people, and help players of all levels improve their skills. When we have five or nine players, we usually rotate the last East out so a waiting player can join the table. With three players, we often use The Charleston—even though NMJL and tournament rules don’t allow it—if everyone at the table agrees on a method that works. Volunteers are welcome to rotate, and players can switch tables to keep the games fair and enjoyable for all.
