Join artist Helen McCormick for a fun and creative session where you’ll learn how to make a beautiful pumpkin and toadstool sculpture.
You’ll be guided through the pottery-making process, from shaping the clay to adding intricate details. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience with pottery, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their artistic side.
Through the day, you will be taught step-by-step instructions on how to design and build your sculpture using traditional hand-building techniques. All materials and equipment will be provided. Please bring an apron or wear old clothes, and if possible, trim any long nails to help with the clay work.
After the workshop, your pumpkin will be carefully fired in Helen’s kiln and returned to you, ready to add an autumnal touch to your home just in time for Halloween. Your completed pumpkin will be available for collection approximately 6 weeks after the workshop, and we’ll notify you of the collection date and time.
