You're invited to the Pumpkin Hike at Hartman Creek State Park for a family-friendly evening of hiking on park trails lit by candlelight. Local schools will decorate over 500 luminaries to light up the 1.2 mile hike around Hartman Lake. Family-fun photos against a backdrop of fall decorations at the Amphitheater where Smokey Bear will greet you. Hot apple cider and donut holes will be served at the Beach Shelter (while supplies last). The event is free and open to the public, but you will need to purchase a daily pass or have an annual State Park sticker which you can purchase at the park office (cash preferred to speed up the line) or online. Print out your online receipt to bring with you.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of positions.
