All Aboard for Fall Fun!
It’s that magical autumn season again, and our Pumpkin Express Train Rides are back! Join us every Saturday from October 3 through October 31 for a family favorite tradition.
What to Expect
Take a scenic train ride through horse country to the Kentucky River. On the way back to West Versailles, we make a stop at Abbott Station located at the Life Adventure Center. Here you can enjoy a cup of apple cider, get your fall photos in, then compete with your group in a friendly game of cornhole. We have pumpkins for purchase- cash and credit card accepted. Kid's activities and games are available to make it fun for the whole family. Round up the kids and grandkids- this is a Fall Fest you won't want to miss!
Departure Times:
11:00 AM
2:30 PM
(Boarding begins 30 minutes before departure)
Seating Options:
Coach Seating - Our coaches are antique commuter coaches with vinyl bench seats and windows that open.
First Class Seating - Our First Class service is in former long distance cars that are climate-controlled and feature individual plush reclining seats.
Open Air Seating - Enjoy a completely different view of the right of way on our covered Open Air cars. Ride behind the locomotive. Remember to dress for the weather.
Ticket Prices:
First Class – Adult: $25 | Child (2–12): $23
Open Air Car – Adult: $25 | Child (2–12): $23
Coach Class - Adult: $20 | Child (2 - 12): $18
ℹ️ Good to Know:
• The round trip will last approximately 2 hours.
• There is no assigned or reserved seating, so plan to arrive early to secure seats for your group
• Restrooms are available at the museum station only. There are NO bathroom facilities on board the train.
• Parking: Cross the railroad tracks as you approach the museum, then turn left into the large lot. Plenty of space available!
