LSO opens the 2025-2026 season with Jessie Montgomery’s Coincident Dances, inspired by the multicultural aural soundscapes found while walking in New York City. LSO then performs Leonard Bernstein’s intense Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, a suite adapted from the Romeo and Juliet inspired musical. The concert closes with Sergei Rachmaninoff’senergetic Symphonic Dances.
