Pull Up & FONO presents Active Listening

On November 13th, we're back at FONO HiFi Lounge for the second edition of Active Listening: two rooms, vinyl sets, more DJs & live visuals!
About this Event

For the second edition of Active Listening we've assembled a lineup of stellar DJs for our return to our favourite HiFi Lounge, FONO!

Pink Veil is back playing a vinyl set in the FONO lounge, flexing her curation and deep selections for a two-hour set, setting up the vibe like no other. Montreal’s Emil Paquin is making his Ottawa debut, coming with a crate full of bumpy UKG, showing his taste for rare, exquisite Garage cuts.

So Durand & Osita, two long time friends, will be playing a back to back set bringing club joints and everything in between to kick off the Ballroom portion of the evening, and Bleu Pâle & Ttrills will be closing out the evening in a back to back set that is not to be missed, as these two fierce DJs blend effortlessly with wide ranging top shelf cuts.

Additionally, we will be joined by Bluechapellamb who will be performing live visuals to accompany the music in her signature style.

Basically all killas no fillers. What more could you want?

Active Listening, notably “the practice of being fully present in a conversation” for us goes beyond conversations, as listening is a key principle of a dance floor. The title also invokes being active, such as dancing, another core element of our events. Utilizing both the ballroom and the lounge at FONO, you’ll be transcended into a dance party like no other. Standout DJs, live visuals in The Ballroom and two vinyl DJ sets in the HiFi Lounge are sure to have you active.
