Pull a United Jet for Special Olympics | Plane Pull 2026
About this Event
I spent years in the Marine Corps and the Army, then more years in law enforcement. Service has always been the throughline. This August, I am trading the uniform for a rope and pulling a United Airlines plane 12 feet across the tarmac at DIA, all to raise money for Special Olympics Colorado athletes. Every dollar goes straight to them. Help me move this plane.dfd
Boots and Badges is proudly supported by Strong Law, Chick-fil-A and Crestmark Wealth Group
You and 24 other people are going to pull an actual United Airlines jet across the tarmac at Denver International Airport. On foot. By rope. For Special Olympics Colorado.
This is the Plane Pull, one of the most unusual charity events in the state, and Team Crestmark is putting a crew together for Saturday, August 29, 2026.
What is the Plane Pull? Teams of up to 25 people compete to pull a United Airlines jet 12 feet across the tarmac in the fastest time. No experience needed. Just effort, team spirit, and a willingness to pull really hard. Beyond the competition, this family-friendly event features food, games, giveaways, and plenty of seating inside the hangar. Come for the pull, stay for the party.
Why it matters: Special Olympics Colorado serves more than 30,000 athletes across 21 sports, providing competition, health screenings, leadership development, and education at no cost to athletes and their families. Your support helps build a more inclusive Colorado.
No athletic background required. If you can grab a rope and pull, you belong on this team. Bring your friends, your coworkers, your competitive streak.
Come pull a plane. Stay for the food, the games, and the bragging rights.
