Join us at the top of Pukewīwī / Puketāpapa / Mt Roskill for a spectacular day of kite flying on Sunday 16 June 2024 to celebrate Matariki.Bring your own kite to fly, or watch some of the large-scale kites on display. There will also be plenty of action on the summit with games, workshops, and activities.
There will be no parking on the summit, instead we've made it easy for you to ride over on your bike because Bike Auckland is offering FREE bike valet at the summit!
And a shuttle will operate throughout the day to transport people up and down the Maunga.
Thank you to the Tupuna Maunga Authority for allowing this event to take place on the beautiful maunga.
