Pugin’s Paints Workshop

A hands-on workshop exploring natural pigment paint making, encouraging an appreciation of natural materials in the spirit of Pugin and his designs in the Cathedral. After a tour of the paint works in the Cathedral, there will be a workshop with expert Lucy Mayes to learn about and experiment with traditional methods of preparing paints with natural pigments.

16+, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are £15 to cover material and refreshment costs. Includes a 4-hour long workshop with Lucy plus a tour of the Cathedral.
