While a Brave hero with a lightning scar on his forehead attends “a certain school of magic,” the Puffs live a parallel storyline. They are invited, sorted, and schooled. They have feels. They snogg. They find their own way through the angsty, difficult teen years. And some of them die. But even if they aren’t the heroes in the Chosen One’s epic seven-year take-down of You Know Who, they are heroes to and for each other. Friendship reigns supreme. In the end, that’s all that really matters.
