Presented in association with Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción, the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra makes its Symphony Hall debut under the direction of Maximiano Valdés, continuing the BSO's exploration of Caribbean stories and music.One of three non-BSO orchestras featured this season, their performance highlights the vibrant musical traditions of Puerto Rico and beyond. This concert is part of our E Pluribus Unum: From Many, One exploration, honoring the diverse voices that shape our nation’s musical heritage, and will include works by Angélica Negrón, Roberto Sierra, and a selection of Puerto Rico’s rich popular musical traditions.
