The City of Greenville invites residents to take part in a Public Workshop on the Urban Forest Comprehensive Plan on June 16, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the Prisma Health Welcome Center in Unity Park.
This community-focused meeting is an opportunity for residents to learn about the City’s first-ever comprehensive plan to protect, strengthen, and expand Greenville’s urban forest.
A presentation will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m., so community members are encouraged to arrive on time to get the full overview.
The Urban Forest Comprehensive Plan will guide how the City manages, grows, and cares for the trees that make Greenville healthier, cooler, and more resilient. Attendees will learn about the current state of Greenville’s tree canopy and have the chance to share their ideas for the future.
