Therefore it is essential that we learn which types of mind create suffering and which types of mind are conducive to feelings of contentment and a sense of well-being. In particular, through training in meditation we can develop and maintain a peaceful mind which will be a source of happiness, harmony and good relationships with others.

About Gen-la Kelsang Jampa:
Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition whereby he teaches large events and guides meditation retreats all around the world. Gen-la Jampa is also the Resident Teacher of the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon, located on I-40 (Exit 171) just outside of Williams.
