Public speaking training this Thursday

The Toastmaster chair for the Weston-Mount Dennis Toastmasters Club has set the theme for this week's online meeting: The power of you.

There'll be a 15 min workshop on the the art of storytelling in public speaking

There'll also be time for Table Topics, which is impromptu speaking. Improving your impromptu skills is important.

If you've only experienced the fear of public speaking -- check us out. At our meetings, you'll be surrounded by the joy of public speaking

Toastmasters isn't a workshop or seminar. It's a hands-on environment. Each Toastmaster has a role and each role studies some aspect of public speaking. We also have speakers.

Toastmasters has an educational side that teaches public speaking. What we learn, we show and demonstrate in the meetings.

It's free to attend the meeting as a guest. You can attend as a guest as often as you'd like. We try to include you in many aspects of the meeting and you learn a lot about public speaking by being around us.
