About this Event

Want to speak with more confidence at work, in meetings or in front of a group? Join Liberty Leaders Toastmasters for a Thursday evening of real practice, in a friendly and supportive room. Guests are always welcome, and you can practice or you can simply watch. No experience needed.

What you’ll get

• Speak better: see prepared speeches and short impromptu talks, and pick up techniques you can use the next day. Guests can also take part in Table Topics, our impromptu speaking segment, if they’d like to.
• Build confidence: practise at your own pace, in a room where everyone is on your side.
• Develop leadership skills: learn to give clear feedback, guide a team and think on your feet.
• Meet new people: hear their stories and make connections outside of work.

What happens on the night

Prepared speeches, constructive feedback and Table Topics, an impromptu segment where volunteers practise thinking on their feet.
