About the Event:
I am honored to serve on the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security, and I want to invite you to join me for this important hearing.
Two key bills I have proudly sponsored will be heard:
Dakota’s Law (H.2735) – Establishes a fund to cover the medical bills of retired police and military dogs. These heroes currently have no support system once they are injured or age out of service.
Nero’s Law 2.0 (H.2738) – Expands the original Nero’s Law by allowing advanced life support to be administered to injured police and military dogs by properly trained individuals.
Both bills are dear to my heart, and with your help, we can make them the law of the Commonwealth.
