Investigate the haunted George Taylor House! Small group ghost hunts, history, and access to the newly accessible Winter Kitchen
About this Event

About This Event

Step into history and mystery with a guided paranormal investigation at the George Taylor House, home of Declaration of Independence signer George Taylor.

Your ticket includes:

  • A brief history of the house, highlighting stories of its active paranormal areas.
  • Small group ghost hunting rotations through the property lead by George Taylor House Paranormal Committee Investigators and includes ares such as the cellar, attic, and other historically significant rooms.
  • Access to the newly accesible Winter Kitchen, reopened for investigations.

The George Taylor House has been featured on Ghost Hunters (Travel Channel / Discovery+). Members of our team of investigators have attended seminars with respected figures in the field such as Dustin Pari, John Zaffis, and Brian Cano, and with one contining to study the science of the paranormal — including parapsychology under Brian Cano himself. As a team, we’ve investigated numerous historic locations, focusing on education, respectful exploration, and a methodical approach that emphasizes debunking while remaining open to the unexplained. Some of our investigators also bring intuitive abilities to help guide and interpret investigations, while keeping the focus on history, research, and credible results.

Guests are welcome to bring their own investigation tools. Please note: If using sound-producing devices or apps (such as spirit boxes), headphones are required to ensure all groups can work without interference.

What to Expect
  • Learn about the history of George Taylor and the home’s role in early America.
  • Hear the stories of unexplained activity reported on the property.
  • Investigate in small groups for a more immersive experience.
  • Use your own paranormal equipment or simply observe and take part in group experiments.
  • Explore spaces not usually open to the public, including the Winter Kitchen which is part of the oldest structure on the property, predating the 1768 mansion.

  • Respect — for the history of the George Taylor House, its spirits, and your fellow investigators.
  • Curiosity — an open mind for exploring the unexplained.
  • Team Spirit — investigations are done in small groups, so cooperation is key.
  • Patience — paranormal activity is unpredictable, and careful observation is essential.
