The public is warmly invited to join us for an informal discussion with participating artists in "What Fools These Mortals Be,” the video installation directed by Adad Hannah that is featured as part of the Otherwise Disregarded exhibition.
What Fools reimagines Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a series of tableaux vivants co-created and performed by 14 formerly-incarcerated women.
What Fools was commissioned by The Circle Project, an evolving collaboration of artists and formerly incarcerated women in the Vancouver region dedicated to producing provocative art together. More information on The Circle Project may be accessed here: https://thecircleproject.online
