Join the City of McAllen for a public open house to help shape the future of Downtown McAllen and the Entertainment District at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
The Downtown and Entertainment District Redevelopment Strategy will explore opportunities to strengthen the area as a vibrant destination for residents, businesses, visitors, and nightlife. The planning process will focus on improving public spaces, mobility, parking, placemaking, development opportunities, and the overall experience of moving through and spending time in the district.
This open house is an opportunity for community members, business owners, property owners, and other stakeholders to share their ideas, priorities, and concerns. Attendees will be invited to review initial recommendations and provide feedback on opportunities for improvement.
