Join us in Sacramento to talk about building a state bank that puts California's money to work for California communities.
About this Event

California currently pays private financial institutions billions of dollars a year in fees and interest to manage public money. That money could be building affordable housing, funding small businesses, and investing directly in our communities instead.
Join us for an afternoon in the Sierra 2 Center Garden Room to talk about what a California State Bank could mean for Sacramento and the whole state. We'll cover where things stand at the Capitol, what's next, and how you can get involved.
Speakers include Dawn Basciano, Vice President of Women Democrats of Sacramento County, and Dr. Flo Cofer, with more speakers being confirmed.
This event is co-hosted by Women Democrats of Sacramento County, Sacramento Climate Coalition, 350 Sacramento, Third Act Sacramento, Indivisible Sacramento, Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS), Coalition Against Project 2025, California Public Banking Alliance, The Greenlining Institute, and End Poverty in California.
