ome join the Texas Chapter of BHA and USACE rangers to celebrate National Public Lands Day and help clean-up and improve the shoreline areas on Grapevine Lake in Murrell Park!
The park was heavily impacted by flooding in 2024, and BHA volunteers will help remove trash, brush and debris, and restore the shoreline to a more natural state.
Volunteers will meet at the Guard Shack at 880 Simmons Road, Flower Mound, TX 75022 at 8 am for a safety briefing and to pass out tools and supplies.
All volunteers will need to bring work gloves and a pair of safety glasses.
After the work is complete, BHA will provide a grilled hamburger lunch with drinks and fixings! Lunch will be served by 2 pm at the latest. Bring some friends and we'll see you there!
