Public Interest: Next Door Records Two Basement

Greetings Everyone! We're pleased to invite you all to our upcoming event at the Next-Door Records 2 basement, one of the city’s newest premier venues, on Saturday, January 18th.

This one will be real intimate and will feature special residents from the infamous Wacky Records event series, as well as our own residents.

Wacky Records Co-founder Nibh and long-time resident Tina will be taking over most of the night, showcasing their musical alchemy as they take us on a journey delving deep into their collections through Spacey House, Melodic Techno, Electro and more…

Warming up for them are our residents EFM and Jem, playing a mix of Deep House, Italo Disco, Electro Funk and other bits.

Nibh | An Eclectic DJ and Co-founder of Wacky Records, over the past two years Nibh has played and helped to curate standout unannounced events in some of the city’s prominent venues including The Cause, The Goose, Star Lane, and many more. With roots in melodic techno, Nibh seamlessly delves deep into blends of House and Techno alongside Trance and Garage. Following up on his previous set at one of our older events at The Shacklewell Arms, we’re thrilled to see what he’ll bring to the decks this time around!

Tina | She has been smashing it as a consistent Wacky Records resident since their first party in 2022, impressing audiences with her exploration of deep, bassy grooves. Her feature on Bloop Radio earlier this year saw her craft a beautiful mix consisting of hypnotic Housey grooves and Spacey Disco influenced tracks. We couldn’t be more excited to have her down!

EFM & Jem | To open the evening, Public Interest residents EFM & Jem will be going back-to-back to deliver the best of House, Italo Disco, Electro, beyond. Holding a strong two-year residency at AAJA radio under their belt and a consistent record of sonic excellence at all our past events, EFM and Jem are the ideal duo to set the stage for an unforgettable night.
