You're invited to a public hearing to learn about and share feedback on the proposed improvements to enhance pedestrian mobility, accessibility and safety along West Mercury Boulevard (Route 258) between Kilgore Avenue and Build America Drive in Hampton.

The proposed project plans include adding a sidewalk, pavement markings, and lighting along Mercury Boulevard, which includes four existing at-grade crossings of Interstate 64 (I-64) ramps, for a total project length of 0.49 mile. At the meeting, you'll have the opportunity to review the display exhibits and ask questions of the VDOT project team. A court reporter will also be available to record oral comments.
