Public Hearing: Countywide Area Plan for Older Adults 2024-2028

This is the community event to review and comment on the 2024-2028 Countywide Area Plan for Older Adults (CWAP), a comprehensive document intended to guide future decisions, investments, and improvements throughout Alameda County for adults 55+. Registration is not required but helps us with our planning.

This intergenerational community event will be held at the San Leandro Community Library, 300 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro, CA 94577 - Karp Rm. There will be refreshments, door prizes, and other surprises.

The draft CWAP and other updates will be available by 4/25/24 on our website. If you don’t have a chance to read it before the hearing, that’s ok! We still need you to attend and give your perspective on healthy aging in the County.

The meeting place is accessible, and the meeting will be conducted in English with Spanish and Cantonese interpretation provided.
