About this Event
Join us at the University of Birmingham for our final event aimed at providing skills and training in public engagement in computer science. These events are hosted with support of an EPSRC grant awarded to Professor John Terry.
This in-person, half day event aims to bring together members of the ICT community, students, researchers, and experts to learn how to get the most out of public engagement, to share ideas, and develop skills which will enable successful public enagement activities in the future.

This event is open to anyone in the computer science or ICT field who wants to learn more about public engagement and develop their skills in this area. We highly encourage early career researchers to attend these events.
Travel Bursary:
We have a small number of travel bursaries available of up to the value of £150 for anyone outside of Birmingham who would like to travel to this event. This is to cover the cost of economy train/bus travel and receipt(s) will be needed to claim your expense. Please email by Monday 7th April with a supporting paragraph explaining why you would like to attend the workshop and how the bursary would be beneficial to you. We are also happy to contribute towards carer, support worker or childcare costs if this will help you attend – please discuss with us what support you would need.
