Join us for a night to celebrate new public art and a lively discussion exploring how both sanctioned and unsanctioned public art invites people to engage with their communities.
4pm: Community gathering reception
5-6pm: Panel discussion featuring an introduction from Katy Smith, Editor of Columbus Monthly Magazine and panelists Mitch Menchaca, President & CEO of the Greater Columbus Arts Council, Betsy Pandora, President & CEO of the Short North Alliance, local artist Mandi Caskey a.k.a Miss Birdy, creator of the new "She Moves With Color" mural, internationally celebrated muralist and prolific graffiti writer Ryan Sarfati a.k.a Yanoe, creator of "The Journey" mural, and Columbus City Councilmember Lourdes Barroso de Padilla
7pm: Reception
Plus, you're invited to join us beforehand at 3:30pm for a public dedication and plaque unveiling with the "She Moves With Color" mural.
Free to attend; RSVPs requested.
The event is made possible with support from 614 Beautiful and the Neighborhood Design Center, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the Short North Alliance, Crawford Hoying, Compton Construction, The Moxy, and The Ohio Arts Council.
